Sow
with outstanding uniformity
Precise control of the sowing rate and an even spacing of seed in the rows is essential in modern cereal growing. The central metering unit precisely meters all seed types at rates from 2 to 400kg/ha. The seed is metered into a high speed air stream which transports the seed to a distribution unit then on to the individual coulters. A simple calibration procedure ensures fast and accurate setting of the sowing rate. The central feed roll allows accurate metering with only small quantities of seed in the hopper, and any resisual can be easily emptied by opening a flap for fast change over between seed types. All KRM drills feature the Elite Tine coulter and are available as 4m to 6m solo drills, 4m to 6m cultivator drills as well as 3m and 4m power harrow / cultivator drills. |
